Question about sub box positioning, please help.

I have 4 15" Rockford Power DVC's but until I can get a custom setup to fit them all, I want to just use 1 for now... I have 1 in a box... It will fit in the rear storage well, but the question is, how will it sound? On must rear storage well boxes, the subs are faces up... With this box in the storage well, i can only have the sub 1 of 2 ways, firing at the rear of the car or the front of the car in the well...
_______

l l\ l ___Rear deck______ ------->Front of car

in it.

Do you guys get my drawing? Its a picture of the sub box in the rear well with the sub facing towards the tail lights.... I can also make the sub facing towards the gas tank... How will this sound and which way would sound better? Thanks....

I tried to imagine but it's kinda hard considering it's a 15" sub. Why not try it both ways and see which you like best.
