security code?

I have a deck that came out of my cusins 1LE about 4 years ago and he does not have the car, so my question is does this year delco radio hace a security code and if so is there anyway i can reuse it

not real sure about the older ones, but my uncles 95 impala ss locked up, he took it to the dealer and they fixed it, was like $50 or somethin like that
