Wiring diagram and ohms

If someone could provide a stock wiring diagram for the stereo that would be very helpful. Also, what can stock speakers handle in the way of power? My new cd player has 160 watts...I hear the stock stereo put out like 3...so are they gonna blow or do they have high enough impedance?

actually the higher end decks put out less wattage because the manufactures assume you are going to amp all of the speakers and an external amp will get better sound quality then a deck amp. the stock deck should put out about 15-20 watts per channel. i know the eclipse deck i want puts out 5 watts and i have a 4 channel Alpine v12 amp that i am going to use for the speakers. i figgure this will give me better sound quality then the high wattage decks.

Yeah, I know the higher watts may cause distortion if I run a powered signal into an amp. I suppose if I were to get an amp I could probably just solder some very high impedence cable to my powered outs on my cd player to reduce the power getting in and that could help, but right now I'm just trying to figure out how to hook the darn thing up. the wiring for this is absolutely nothing like stock (as I'm sure most of you who have changed out your stereos know) so I'm trying to figure out what goes where but I can't find any wiring diagrams!
