alpine 7861 does it exist?!?!

My friend just got a new alpine deck. ON the faceplate it says 7861. He got it as an open box special so he didn't get a manual or anything with it. So I went on Alpines website to look at the specs for it. But I couldn't find it. they had a 7863, but no 7861. what it up with that. Its like it doesn't exist, but I see it everyday. It is really a nice deck. It has a **** for volume which I like. And the display is nice. Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah i've heard about that one, i have it in my 89 rs. at first i had a sony and it sucked then broke (thank god) so i sent it back and got the alpine. I never new my car could sound that clear. I dont know what questions to answer for you casue the manual doesn't say much, doesnt even give its rms power, just says 45x4 like the face. If you have any specific questions about it feel free to email me, alivegy@aol.com.

The 7861 is a pretty nice deck. It's got the rotary volume control, changer controls, tilting front face and can be operated by remote. It lacks most of the features that the 7863 offers, but it's still a decent deck.
