what's the best amp??
what's the best amp??
I am looking at buying 2 10" mTx 6000 subs and the didn't know what amp to get. The RMS watts are 75-250 and the max is 500 watts. I was thinking about getting an amp with around 150-200 watts X 2 at 4 ohms. What type should I get?? Does anyone know of a good and cheap web site for amps??

There's a million good amps out there. Just remember that you get what you pay for. Look into brands like Rockford, Kicker, PPI, Orion, etc. Stay away from junk that advertises 600 watts for $200. Go to your local car audio shop and see what they recomend. I don't suggest buying online because most reputable dealers will not authorize their sales through online sources, which means you're at the mercy of the retailer when it comes to warranty issues. Plus, if you have to send it back, you've got to ship it to Timbucktoo instead of bringing it back to the guys you bought it from. Sometimes it just isn't worth saving a couple bucks.

If youve got a pair of MTX t6's then get an MTX 500d or even consider a 1000d if you plan on expanding.
