Kicker Class D Amps
WHat's the deal with these amps and radio reception?
I have a DX700, and when it is powered up, I can't get squat on the radio. I realized the connection to that amp when it was out being repaired. I had great radio reception until I put it back in, then I might as well have disconnected the antenna.
Do I just need to run the power wire far away from the antenna lead?
TIA

Working on:
'84 Z28 LG4 305 with 200,000 original miles!
Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350 (ZZ430)
using primarily GMPP parts.
Short block sitting on a stand. (Man, those Fast-Burn heads look good, (just sitting there doing nothing!LOL))
Starting to look like the Kicker poster child!

Yeah, I though it was weird also, but I wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone else had heard of this. I knew that the topic would grab your attention, Polecat, and knowing that you are a part of the Kicker organization, maybe you know about it. Well, it'll probably be a couple weeks before I can get time to do, but I'll post again when I do try it out!
Oh yeah, I also wanted to mention that I have 2 ZR 120's in there that didn't cause an issue when the 700 was out.
Thanks.
