Build yor own, or have someone near you build it so it will fit your car not somebody elses.

As long as he gets one built for a thirdgen, it'll be fine. Unless his car got banged up in an accident and got repaired by a hack, his will be 100% identical to everybody elses.

[/B][/QUOTE]Actually Jim, that is'nt always true. There are always slight differences in the finished vehicle, even if the sheet metal underneath is 99% identical. This is the same reason some people have problems with their headers, sub-frame connectors, or Harwood hoods while others do'nt. If he wants some generic box to drop in, and is'nt overly concerned about the fit, than yes these slight differences do'nt matter. However, if he is going to spend the type of cash you are asking for, than he does care and should have it built locally to fit his car 100%.

If a car is tweaked that badly, then fitment of a subwoofer box is the least of a person's concerns. The large movement of the interior plastic should make up for all but the most severe differences. I'm not saying that it isn't possible, but it's highly improbable.

No flame taken, but if you notice I have limo tint on the hatchback, so you can't see them unless you are looking. I have had them for a year and even for being pulled over for racing, the cop didn't say a word about it. But its good advice for someone without the hatchback tinted.

And its just an alternative way to put 2 12 inch subs in a car with very little room without having expensive customazation. And Ive had my subs in the well too and it sounded like crap. Plus I couldn't put anything back there cause they would slide onto the encloser. It may look getto, but it works well for me.
