Kamelion probs :(

hey,

i have a Kamelion stereo. Until a few weeks ago it was working great! Now, the CD player will play a CD but it sounds REALLY REALLY bad. It like cuts in and out...sounds exactly like blown speakers actually. Just a lot of crackling, etc. you cant hear any of the words really just the beats. I asked a radio tech at Best Buy and he says its proobably "the lense came out of alignment" or something like that. He says it happens eventually b/c of all the bumps, etc you hit when driving. SO, thats his take. He says it has to be re-adjusted or something like that. I personally thought *at first* that is was maybee a loose wire or something. I havent physically checked but I doubt thats what it is b/c its not like the Cd cuts out....it is always playing...but just crappy and crackling, etc...whatcha think? thanks in advance

BTW: the radio function itself works flawlessly...sounds great...just crappy when i put in a CD

Since no one else replied I'm guessing that the Best Buy guy is right (for once ). It woulden't be a loose wire, it would have to be internal in the CD section itself. I'm not familier in there so his guess is better than mine. Is it under warrenty or anything?
