Well it seems the box I built is too small....

Well it seems the box I built is too small....

I was building a box to fit in the lower well of the hatch and fit under the t-tops... the top panel of the box was made so it sat on the ledges but taking measurements tonight and calculating, I find its only 1.117 cu ft. and thats probably gonna be way too small for the subs I'm putting in it. I still haven't subtracted from that the volume that the subs actually displace (which I don't know yet).

BTW, I'm going with a pair of MA Audio 10Dxi's which the local stereo place pushed on me, I listened to them but in the shop, but what can you really tell from that-nothing... he said if I don't like them, he'll take them all back (including the amp) and give me what I want... anybody have some feedback on this brand?

In the meantime, I have to run off to Home Dump to get myself some more MDF and make another box
