My head unit gets kind of hot after it been playing a CD for about 20-30 mins. It this anything to worry about? It is an ALPINE unit and sounds good but it get hot. THe A/C was not on and the car was about 90 degrees inside.

 

Head units tend to give off heat...especially when they are in cramped spaces like in 3rd-gen dashes. Its normal as long as the heat is not damaging anything else (wires, etc)

oh, Is there anything I can do, like install fans, everythings seems ok but it gets hot and i rather not have it.

Maybe install a fan into the side of the dash or something to circulate air.
