Anyone put a double-DIN into a G-body....Jim?

I have a customer coming in tomrrow with an '82 Hurst/Olds Cutlass. I haven't seen the car yet, but it currently has an older system in it...pull-out Kenwood tape deck, unknown brand subs and amps, and I guess some of it isn't working. He's going to replace most or all of the system.
He wants to buy the double-DIN Clarion we sell. I have no problem fabricating mounting brackets for it, and trimming the dash opening. I'm just wondering if any of you know if there's enough height to fit the radio in there. From what I recall, even the factory DIN 1/2 units are a pretty tight fit in the dash opening.

I've never touched a G body. A guy I worked with put a 9" CRT tv into his center console, so I know there's room for a double din.
