cubic feet question for the guru's

does anyone know how to get cubic feet if the box is traingular in shape? instead of square? would i just figure out the box size for a square box and cut it in half? i have a new sub project and wanted some pointers.

Figure out the area of the triangle and multiply it by the depth of the box. That will give you the volume of the triangular box. It needs to be the same volume as the recommended cu. ft. for a rectangular box. For example, if you need 1 cu.ft. of airspace for a sub, you could build a rectangular box that has inside dimensions of 12x12x12 or a triangular box with the inside dimensions of the square sides being 12x12 and 24" deep. Make sense?
