I had an 82 GT Cobra for many years and I thought the sound quality of the car was horrible mostly due to the fact that the way the rear speakers faced each other, they seemed to cancel out alot of the sound and bass, that car without a seperate hatch box was horrible. In contrast my 87T/A even with the bass tube I am running turned off the 6x9's can still kick with a small amp hooked up. My vote on the same systems would be the F-Body.

Here is my guess on this... My guess would be F-Bodies, but I am not 100% sure. Here is why... F-bodies are longer, which puts the subs farther away from the ears of the people in front, thus giving more time for the wave length to complete giving a better sound... kinda like how taking the t-tops off can give a deeper bass responce.
That is just my guess and someone will for sure correct me on part of it
