Mounting a amp in a hatch

Mounting a amp in a hatch
Heres what i need to know im puttin a 10 inch bazooka tube in the lower well of my hatch and i want to mount my amp (phoenix gold M25)In the hatch but out of the way so i can still put my t tops back thereand strap them in.Any suggestions.......

im in the proses of making an amp rack that will go right where the rear shade is, there will still be enought room for the ttops,

What about ventilation will that be a problem i dont want mt amp to over heat

If you want it out of the way and don't use the rear glove box (locking compartment on the drivers side rear quarter) then you can remove the cardboard box that is behind that panel and create an amp rack in that space fairly easily.
I'll be happy to give you some guidance if that is a viable option for you...

What about the other side where the spear it i have no spear in there and theres a lot of space.....

Sure. If you have no spare, then go for it.
There is plenty of airspace back there, so ventillation shouldn't be a problem. That entire area is open all the way up to the doors and up through the sail panels, so don't worry about it overheating if you do that.
You could just make a board that screws down to the frame rail side and have a brace underneath to support it in the open area and mount the amp there. (horizontal between the well and quarter) Just use a good L-Bracket or the like to secure the brace to the bottom of the spare well and then screw the board to the brace.
Does that make sense? It's much easier for me to picture things than it is to describe them.
