Wiring tweets

I little while back I posted a question about hooking up some tweeters in my car. Someone said that If I wire them parallel with the 4x6's it should work fine. Just to make sure I didn't mess anything up, I wanted to make sure this would work. I know that getting some kicks instead of 4x6's would work better or wiring an amp to them would work better, but, I have the 4x6's and tweets so I am going to use them.

Also, parallel wiring is: negative on tweet to negative on 4x6 to negative on deck and positive on tweet to positive on 4x6 to pos on deck. Is this right?

Thanks

yes thats right, but DO NOT wire them to your 4x6s without using a crossover, you will have no tweets left after while, tweeters are meant to play in the kilohertz range, not 40-200 hertz
so u need a crossover that will play from like 500-22,000 hertz
then you will be fine, cause if you blow those up, it definatly hertz the pocket, tweets are like 100 a set lol

also how loud is that 80 series muffler??

Yea, my tweets come with a built in crossover.

The 80 Series muffler sounds great over the stock. It isn't super loud becuase it is a TBI. My friend has the same muffler on his 85 TPI and is alot louder than mine.
