Pioneer Amp

I just bought a Pioneer GM-X802 that did not work. After fixing the bad solder connections, it worked fine for over an hour. I picked the amp up(while it was playing) and it started kicking on and off very quickly and blew the fuses. After replacing the fuses the amp barely plays, all the levels have to be turned down all the way and the deck is turned down to about 1 or 2 or the amp will start kicking on and off again. The heatsink also got very hot very fast. Is this blown transistors? If so, how much is a full set? Thanks..

BTW: This is the older GM-X802. 100x2/4ohm, 300x1/4ohm

It sounds like they could be blown. If it's getting hot, chances are the output is shorted either somewhere in the wiring, or in the FETS themselves. In either case, I'm sure it did permanent damage to the FETS. Whether it's the output fets or the power fets is another story, but if you look at them you should be able to clearly see the burned ones. Just get the model number off the fets, and I'm sure any electronics supply store can get them for a couple bucks each.
