TO BI-AMP, OR NOT TO BI-AMP, That's The Question

Heya,
as youve been following, i have the option of picking up JL audio 300/4 for around 375 each.

now heres the Stats.

and then run Them to MB Quart PSC 216:
Specs:
Impedance: 4 Ohms
Frequency Response: 45-32k
Sensitivity: 87 dB
Power Range: 60-130 watts
Crossover Freq: 2500Hz Hz
Notes:
Components: RTC 25 Tweeter 1" (25mm) REFERENCE Neo Tweeter
PWC 160 Midrange 6.5" (160mm) TX-3 Midrange Driver
PXC 216 Xover MUSiCOMP Crossover for PSC216

Should i get Two Amps off the Bat and Bi-Amp them because if i should biamp them i want to do it at once so that way i can do the seat install. (Props to Jprevost..)

Tell me your thoughts guys, i hope to order this stuff tnoight. ,
Thanx!

why would you need to biamp them? Just use that one amp to run the quarts and the use the rear channel to either run your 6x9s or some subs. I don't really understand what you are asking.

well, what i think i can remember is if you have 75whats full signal that gets split into your mid and tweet you lose some oppurtunity.... well, basicly you have 75 watts straight signal sent to the tweet, and then straight to mid..

Right??

I don't think that amping the tweeter seperately would help that much. They don't take that much power away from the mid. Some one else will be able to explain it better to you than me, but I'm sure you don't need a seperate amp for your tweeters.

Personally, I wouldn't Bi-amp them, Quarts give you the option/feature, but most people dont use it. I'm running a Quart PSC 316 set (6" 4" 1") and I tried it both ways and went back to just the standard setup, and then off the rear channels of my MTX 4300 I run a Quart PKC 116 co-axial.

Another thing to think about is running two JL audio, (or any qualilty amps), will require quite a bit of current, so you'l have to look at your battery, alternator, and maybe install a capacitors.

Just my thought....

Thanks for the props Fire. Personally I don't see the point of the bi-amp unless you just happen to have 2 lower watt amps sitting around. If you used 2 amps, why use the crossover! The woofer is 3.5ohms I think and the tweeter is 6ohms. So I'm guessing the bi-amp will put a 4 ohm load on both the high and low input (2 amps) but I don't know for sure. Even then, most amps have built in parametric eq's and some other goodies (no need for passive crossovers like musicomps).
Final opinion: I wouldn't do it.
