Do you need an amp for this?
if you're gonna be running components, i'd definitely run them off an amp. the head unit's power just isnt enough and nowhere near clean enough. you'll also need the crossovers (should be supplied with the components though.) good luck.
Yes, component systems are possible to install in the front and in the back. However, while doing the back is relatively easy (remove factory 6x9 plates, use as a stencil, fashion new plates for component speakers and crossovers), the front is a bit more difficult due to space restraints. Depending on what size component you want to install, it may be hard to squeeze it into the area once occupied by your dash speakers. And of course you have to find room for the crossover as well. Not to deter you, just keep in mind that a bit of modification may be necessary.
