Hey I have a question/problem

I ran a very large stereo in my car and some times the hatch will pop open when its cranked up (sucks in a comp.)
I have tried dissconectiong the relay in the center console thinking that the vibration may cause the contacts to close

but it still did it.

I haven really looked too far into this I am hoping some one else has has this anomaly

its prolly just an old lockmechanism in the back have you examined it or replaced it?

 

I looked at it but cant see any reason this would happen

 

dampin the **** out of the surrounding area.
