No hook up for amp??

I have a pioneer cd player and a mtx 4250D amp running 2 mtx 6000 10". I love the way it sounds. Anyway, I got this great deal at work for a 500 watt amp and sub and it's brand new and was thinking about buying it and hooking it up. But before I bought it I thought I would look to see if there was a hook up for the amp on the back of my cd player. I already have the mtx amp hooked up. There is another set of ends to hook up what looks like an amp but its on a wire coming out from the back. Is this hook up alright to use or do I have to hook up the amp to the mtx amp and then run the other sub off of it?? What do I have to do to run the other amp and sub?? Please help before I buy.

I think you can buy a set of plugs that branches into two sets. Or you could hook up the amps together. Buy it.
