if I get a RF Power 800.4 amp, it puts out 100+RMS per channel. But the component set I am getting is only rated at 90rms, is there a way to adjust the power, or do I need to get a smaller amp?

just turn the gain down a little bit, plus overpowering really doesnt affect the speaker much as long as it clean power, and also as long as you dont distort the speaker...

Unless you play them full-range, those speakers will never get anywhere near the maximum output of that amp anyway.
