Assuming you've already tried a 7mm small socket and rachet, how about a small 7mm wrench, or small adjustable wrench? It'd be tedious, but then again it's only 4 bolts

Sorry, just thought of something and the options bar for "edit" doesn't seem to be appearing near my post...

If you're possibly talking about getting the dash pad off, you just need a long phillips screwdriver

The bolts that fasten the dashpad are hexagonal, so a screwdriver wouldent work. The reason I'm having trouble doing these is because I cant seem to fit any tool in that vent area, my ratchet needs an adaptor which is too long, and pretty much any tool with a handle wont work because of the angle of the bolt and the windshield.. so the only thing I can think of is trying to loose them with some pliers and try to finger them out

if your talking about the four in front of the defroster vent then they should be phillips, MAKE SURE NOT to let them drop down into the vent it's a bitch to get them out. You can get new ones but the old ones just rattle. Anyway you should just have to use a magnetic driver exstention, took me thirty secs with a makita and an extention. If it's not a phillips try the same thing but with different bits.
