ya some one was trying to steel my woofers but i ran out side and got him before he could brake my window. Any one know a good alarm system that will protect me form ppl breaking my window? I dont think any one wil take my car just my system. I am getting the windows tinted soon.

i heard 3m makes a film that keeps glass from shattering but not breaking. glass is glass it breaks. just got to avoid the situation as much as possible. It's a shame its hard having nice stuff now a days.

Get an alarm system with a LOUD and DISTINCT sound...not those "Ice Cream Truck" sounding alarms that everyone and their relatives own.

Should you decide to install another system, cover everything as much as possible. Out of sight is out of mind.

Lastly, try to keep your car parked where its easy to see. The bottom line if someone wants your stuff bad enough they will do whatever it takes to get it. However, most crooks will only boost what they can get real easy. Make it difficult for them and they will find something else to boost.

Sorry about your loss.

Car Alarms that annoy crooks.

Here it is guys, I know an ex-car thief and I am a licensed installer. First, pager alarms do work and they tell you which zone is being violated. Second get a tilt sensor, you should of seen the look on this one dudes face when he tried to get the Escalade rims off my Suburban and the alarm went off. I slide tackled him and held him at gunpoint with a .45 until the po-po showed up. Third don't bust for the one system does all deal, but dont spend a "g" on a system. Last of all, cab sirens and backup sirens they work. The best idea I can recommend is to mount the back up siren where the crook cant get it out and toss it down the road. I.E. under your battery box. Good systems are UNGO, Clifford, Viper and Alpine. Hope this helps.
