I need pwr antenna help
I have a the stock Delco Bose am/fm cass stereo with the power antenna. My problem is that the antenna failed to go down when the car was turned off but the antenna motor ran and continued to run. It will not stop running, I had to pull the access. fuse. How do i get to the antenna motor? Do I go under the fender? Also is the motors cable just separated from the mast or do i need a new motor. Also, when I turn the radio on and off the motor sounds as if it reverses its direction. Thanks for any and all help.

Sounds like the antenna bit the dust to me..... I can't be sure of that however:
You can disconnect the power antenna at the "relay" to stop it from running continuously. That way you can re-install the ACC fuse. The relay is mounted under the passenger side of the dash. It's located along the inside edge of the "underside" of the dash housing. (I think the wires are green/gray/white). Just follow them from behind the passenger kick panel and you will find the relay !
The only way to get the power antenna out of the car is by removing the plastic wheel well on the passenger side & working on the antenna from there.
P/Antennas are not cheap !
Good luck !
