Yeah i heard them, they are a little bit pricy though. They have good deep bass at low volumes, at high volumes i dont know because they dude at the store wouldent crank em. If your going to get pioneer subs, dont get the older ones, the 350 watt 10's or the 400 watt 12's they suck.

Are you sure you're talking about Premier subs? There were no 350/400 (10"/12" RMS) Premiers that I remember. The old ones (model I have) were 150/200, and are a great speaker. The even older Premiers were 120/150 I believe? Are you maybe thinking about the diamond-plate ones?

As far as the new Premiers, I've never heard them, but I have one of the previous model 12's. It is an awesome sub, and has impressed many...it even exceded my expectations for a "200 watt" sub. The new ones have drastically different specs though. The new ones have higher power handling, but at the cost of efficiency. It would take twice as much power to make the new one as loud as the previous model. So all I can really say is that the Premier subs are quite a step up from the regular Pioneers...the model I have is of great quality (constructin and sound), and is definatly worth what you can get them for (little over $100). I've heard of people giving them over 700 watts without bottoming out. I say if you've got lots of power, the new onew may be worth looking into. If you dont have excessive power (around 200 RMS) see if you can get some of the previous models, or a different sub with higher efficiency. What kind of amp do you plan to use?

I have a set and I love them. But they are the last year models. I also power them with a Premier amp, the XPS-320. The only person that hasn't like them so far was some guy with 2 15s that wanted only bass and no SQ. He also gave me some crap CD to use, that I wasn't impressed with...

Though the kid that pulled up a bit later and started blasting Gwen and Eve - Let Me Blow your Mind was rather impressed when I turned on the same song and drowned out his. He left kinda quick after that....
