Rear 6x9 speakers - Boston Acoustics or Infinity Kappa?

I'm trying to decide which would be better for my application:

Boston Acoustics RX97, 95db, 12-200W
Infinity Kappa 693.3i, 90db, 2-110W

Freq response and price is comparable for both, 35-20,000Hz, $150-$160.

I'll be running them off the head unit, the one I'm looking at is rated for 21Wx4 RMS, 60Wx4 MAX.

Anyone with experience with either of these? Comments on fit in stock locations? Are the Boston Acoustics going to sound OK running off the head unit?

I've heard that the new Infinity Kappas have had problems with the cones cracking. Has this problem been fixed yet? If not, does it affect this particular model number?

Thanks!

Well if you're gonna run them off the deck (not much power), I'd go for the Boston's, due to their higher efficiency. 5 db is ALOT of difference, so they'd be alot louder. But then again since they're rear fill, you may not want them that loud...

I saw your 4x6 post as well. Whatever you end up choosing, Boston's or Infinity's, go with the same brand for both the front and rear speakers for sound consistency. Mixing speakers doesn't usually produce a smooth sound.
If you are going to be listening to them, choose the better sounding 4x6's and stick with that brand for the 6x9's.

I also saw your 4x6 post and I use boston's all around except for the sub. "4x6, 707's" "6x9 RX97" The 707's are crap.
The rx97's are good speakers but they need at least 200 watt's per pair to really thump.

I owned some Infiity Kappa's for another car i had and they sounded great...they were only 5 1/4 in. and they sounded good running on 40 watts. Don't know about Boston Accou. so can't say about those.

Yes i just put in kappa 6x9s and 4x6s the one you are talking about, OMG this sound so great and when connected to my Alpione 4 channel amp ( about 65 RMS) I can max out the volume and there is NO distortion that is with the bass up and the treble down and vise versa.
