Anyone have the speakers in their head rests of their seats? How hard was it to install? Also has anyoen thought of, or already have a subwoofer in thier seat? Talk about bass and back massage...

I can't imagine finding a subwoofer small enough to fit anywhere in a seat with a proper enclosure.

Fieros had speakers in their headrests. A novel idea I suppose, but not exactly the way to recreate an accurate soundstage.

Only if you replaced the seat with a box- not too comfortable. I think even free air subs need some air behind them.

I don't know about subs in the seats, but I have seen thes boost enhancers that you wire up like a speaker and mount UNDER your seat, these things shake like crazy, pretty good for 10 or 20 dollars a pop.
well worth it.

Aura makes these things called Bass Shakers, and they operate on the concept that lower frequencies are felt more than heard. Basically you bolt somewhere (like under your seat), and they add the 'feel' aspect of music. They've been around for awhile, but I think they're still on mmxpress.com .
