bass tube, yes or no???

well the birthday is rollin up here in a few(4 days to be exact) and the parents dont know what to buy me, so me being the young teenager who doesn't wana be able to hear when he is 20 or so, says how about a system. Well surprisingly enough they said ok, now the question is are the bass tubes any good. I have never heard one and wondered if it would sound very good. The place i am looking at is sellin them at a really good price and i was thinkin bout gettin one, b/c it would also help with storing the t-tops. so all opinions are happily accepted. thanks

I have the 6 1/2" Bazooka Bass tube and it sounds very good at moderate levels. I also had to compromise because I wanted to be able to store the T-Tops. I was really impressed by how much Bass this 6 1/2" Bazooka put out from a 160 watt Kenwood amp. You should use the 10" Bazooka if you want louder Bass but, if you want pounding Bass I would make a box and put in a couple of 12's.

if you want to have loud bass and still have storage for the t's just build a baffle.

i did it, an my two 12" alpine type r's pound!!

if you want to really have good sound out of the baffle setup sound deaden the well under the carpet.

Bazooka has a triangular bass tube that POUNDS. They have a few levels the biggest is comparable to a 15 unfortunately they use a lot of space but with the right amp they can shake the display room at the place I heard them at.

I have a 10 inch Audiobahn tube in the hatch of my car with an Phoenix gold m25 amp and that thing hits pretty hard.I like the audiobahn tube better than the bazooka.I bought my tube here

The 10 inch fits right in the well of the hatch
