someone pleae help with rear speakers.

I need a good material to make an enclosure to fit 6x9's in the rear panels. For some reason my car did not come with factory rear speakers because there is nothing to hold them in. What would i use to make an enclosure. could someoen help me or should i jsut run 4x6's in the front and just use my sub box in the back and don't worry about the rear speakers? someone help.

There is no 6x9 hole behind the piece of fabric along side the rear seats? If not then you could buy the 6x9 boxes from Crutchfield.

There is no way you can fit a crutchfield 6X9 box in there. Goto the junkyard and pick up a set of speaker mounts. They can be from a camaro or firebird it doesn't matter. If you can, find one that has the fiber backing in good shape. That helps the sound a lot.

Happy hunting.

Personally, I would not worry about back speakers. Rear speakers are ment for fill. Your front stage produces almost all of your soundstage. This is why your front speakers are so important. Buy a set of DJ's kickpanels and put some good components in there. Or if you don't have the funds (like me ) get good 4x6's.

Hope this helps,
Matt

I meant put the boxes behind the seats not in the factory local.Crutchfield sells waterproof foam baffles that can be used behind the speakers if you can find out how to mount em in the factory locals
