Pioneer amp for sub

Nah, dude, a class D amp would kick ***, but you don't need one for good sound!! It's a class AB amp, which I think is right below class D. Pioneer's a good name, too, so you know they're not BS'ing about the specs. (As opposed to a Pyramid amp or a Profile or etc.) It's got 380x1 @ 4 ohms RMS, and should hit hard.
One problem though, that might "not" be a problem depending on your system. It's got a fixed 80Hz low pass crossover. If you need to change that, either your head unit needs to have that capability, or you have to buy an external active crossover. 'Course, 80Hz is probably where you want your bass to cut off, anyway. You certainly don't want to run the amp in full range mode!
Also, there's no bass boost built into the amp.
So it'd power that sub pretty decently, but it doesn't have too much built-in "tuneability"

so is that one better than the JBL 600.1 the numbers seem better for the pioneer especially the THD and signal to noise ratio.
but the JBL is a class D.
