Can you guess that wire?

Well, I had my console apart, and upon putting it together a wire came out of my Pioneer Deck... cuz it no longer will turn on. The wire is a pretty thick gauge wire. It looks like a RCA. It has a red circumference on the end. There is a white one that plugs into an adapter then to the back of the deck. But I have no idea where this "red" one goes. Anybody know?

The wire is black, but the end is like a RCA jack. When you look at it around the edge, surrounding the "male part" it is red. The the wire is black. I was thinking it was the atenna too... but wouldn't the dech still turn on?

Yes it is the antenna. No the deck will not turn on if it is dissconnected or if it is not properly grounded. This should fix your problem. Usually antennas plug straight in the deck and not in a harness, you shouldent miss it.

Hope this helps,
Matt

It is possible that one of the power wires or the ground wire came loose. If the wire you are talking about is an RCA, there should be another one with either a black or a white end running right beside it. If it is an RCA, the problem with the deck not turning on is probably unrelated. Check all of your connections.
