sub in center console
i was wondering if it was possible to make a custom center console and put an 8" sub in it. if it is possible, how would it sound alone, or with 2 subs in the back?

Anything is possible, but I would stick with just the subs in the back. There's a large amount of plastic in the dash and console and would probably be a pain in the *** to tighten everything down to ensure nothing vibrates. Just my opinion though. Good luck.

It certainly would have to be a complex design. Chances are, unless you're willing to fashion an entirely new dash and console, it's most likely not an option.
Obvioulsy it would be different, but as for convenience and sound quality, not much would be gained and a great deal could be lost in the process. You would have to relocate the head unit in order to prevent any skipping (you can do it, but that's even more custom work).
Also the dash, which people have said vibrates enough with high end 4x6's let alone a sub, would have to go through some major mods. There's just so many plastic parts in that area just waiting for a reason to rattle that it just doesn't seem worth it.
But if you really are serious about it and don't mind customizing a large portion of the interior, then it could really come out looking sweet! I suppose it all depends on how much you're willing to do....
