Just put in my JBL bp 1200.1

After putting it in and leaving the gains a the propr 4v and turning up the bass boost and setting the EQ i could barely even hear the subs, I have 3 rockford HEs wired to 2.6 ohms i mean i know the HEs arent anything secial but i couldnt even hear them it was like my speakers hd more bass, does anyone knw why??? i hadan mtx thunder500D ap before and it sounded louder bt alo wasnt very loud and this amp has twice the power of that hat is going on?????

4v is only at max volume. You should adjust the gain by hand to make it as loud as you can without distorting.

Iwas alays told tayou should match the voltage of the pre outs on your deck with the amp and since my head unit has 4v for a sub i set te amp to 4v, i turned the gain up on my last mtx amp and i fried it
