hmm, that looks like select's brushed aluminum
(recognized the little bit of the plastic cover on the one pic.)
Have you had anyluck with bending it under heat ? I tried once, and th aluminum laminate got fine cracks in it.

Yeah, I'm trying to carry that theme through most of the install....Grill highlights, dash kit, amp base, I even did my switch panel in the 4th gen console in that now instead of that red plastic that it was...
I haven't tried to bend it yet...that's tonights project. I need to take that bottom portion that is still long and fold it underneath the factory housing to cover 2 mounting screws that I'm using to secure the whole thing in place.
I wish I could find that stuff cheaper or even make all my pieces and have some metal shop duplicate it all for me out of real aluminum...I'm thinking this plastic may not hold up in the long run as it seems to scratch easliy.
As far as cutting, a nice plexi cutting blade, 2 scores and a snap...cut big and file to exact...easy stuff to work with since it's so thin.
