2 perfect 10's and 202a amp, i want my car to thump.......
hi,i have this setup and i also have a kenwood 2 way box, which has 2 10's 2 2.5's and 2 3.5's,which is ported,my problem is though,it just doesnt seem to go as loud,or hit as hard as i think it should.the subs r running on 200 watts each, just 4 ohm load off the 202a,should i bridge into 1 channel and feed 600 watts into both of them?and how would i do that??that would be @ 4 ohm on the amp,but i dunno how to wire it up right.also the kenwood setup is rated at 100 watts rms,and my amp is runnin at that to,should i bridge it to,and put 300 into 1 channel into both quicks???thanks alot...
hey... yesterday i cleaned out the back of my trunk area and i put a small 1 1/2ft tall by 1ft long box that had 1 !jbl 7inch computer subwoofer... well i wasnt expecting much and i hooked it all up i had the sub sitting right behind the rear seat... i was very dissapointed... well i then moved the sub into the trunk well, and i was extremely amaised at the difference... i swear that that puny computer sub is just as loud as my sisters single 10... the sub is pointing sideways to the left and the port is in the corner of the box pointing right... the way the rear winshield is slanted, it directs all the bass to the front seat area... a total sweet spot... i can not believe it... it was crystal clear bass... no distortions at all... i going to install 2 12 the same way when i get money for them...

well would you have any ideas of how to put 2 10's like that??i mean there really isnt all that much room for all that....what about a box that was long like that, and use only one speaker, and put it in the middle, and have it firing into another sealed box,and comin out of a ported box??thats what infinity prefered for my sub, should basically be bout the same right??
