Volume going up and down by itself????

Well, I installed my Pioneer head unit (7300) about a week ago. Everything was great until yesterday, when I noticed the volume would change by itself. It happens every 30 seconds or so. Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

wut i would do is take the deck back to where u got it and exchange it, that will prolly solve your problem, ive had a pioneer stop playing cds after about a month or so of listening to it, took it back to where i got it and exchanged it, and it worked fine until i sold the truck, then teh dude rolled it, F***in idiot, with Booze YOU Looze

Don't know if your particular head unit has this option, but i have seen and heard some head units that actually raise and lower the volume on its own, depending on how high your RPM's go.The faster you go the louder your car and the head unit ajusts to the RPM's range.I guess so that you can hear your system when your passing a MUSTY-stang!! ..Might want to check it out, yours might have this option.Keep us updated and let us know what happens.

Brent Swan is right, I've got this head unit, and it detects the amount of noise and raises or lowers the volume slightly depending on the noise. You can turn it off. RTFM!
