Best place to put bass tube?
Best place to put bass tube?
I just bought a 8" amplified bass tube for my Bird, and I was just wondering where the best place to put it would be for the bset sound, and the least rattling. Thanks.

I mounted my 6 1/2" Bazooka tube in the hatch well area on the left side. Has good bass there and is hidden from view.
What would be the best way to secure this tube because I'm not crazy about drilling holes into my car.

put in in the well inback of the axle hump or whatever. the sound will bounce off the hatch and directly into the passenger compartment.
not good for highs, but perfect for base since bass is a non-directional wave..
put a LOT of velcro on it..velcro sticks to the carpet in out cars. it shoudl stay put if you do that.

I mounted my Amp in the Hatch well area with the spiky part of the Velcro attached to the bottom of the amp. I then used 3M Grey O.E.M. double sided tape to attach the Bazooka mounting brackets to the top of the amp. The amp is secured very well and does not move.
