Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
I just watched one hour of the Grammys and got so fed up with the **** [yes, especially the rap] being played, that the T.V. is now shut off.
Have you heard the [old] saying? "You can't listen to a CD until you remove the [w]rapper?"
Wow, I forgot that this site bleeps-out curses.
Have you heard the [old] saying? "You can't listen to a CD until you remove the [w]rapper?"

Quit lying to yourself pretty much everything new coming out now is pretty horrible whether its Rap, rock, pop, every single genre is bad. There are few bands or rappers that are putting out some stuff worth hearing....Why would you turn your T.V to that channel in the first place?
Your not a Katy Perry fan are you?
and listening to Classic Rock makes no one special im 17 and I probably know more than people who were actually alive when that stuff was coming out....

BOOM!!!! "To Live and Die in LA". And "Lil Homies". Yup. Careful though. When people hear that someone plays rap, they usually begin to hate on you. I think it all depends where you live though.

My TOP 5:
1. Krokus: Screaming in the Night
2. Queensryche: Eyes of a Stranger
3. White Snake: In the Still of the Night
4. Pat Benetar: Invincible
5. Rainbow: Street of Dreams
I'm an 80s freak! I will even sometimes wear a black leather jacket in the summer while driving one of my black ttops.
Speaking of Krokus, I don't encounter many people who have even heard of them. I guarantee you that if you buy or download the "Headhunter" album from 1983 that by the time you are done listening to it, your hair will be longer.

Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
Hell- Disturbed
Far From Home- Five Finger Death Punch
I Wanna Be Sedated- Ramones
Hell Awaits- Slayer
Fade To Black- Metallica
Actually that's just a rough list. There are so many great songs from so many great bands, it's hard to say that any five are my favorites. Right now it's pissing rain winter time and my Beasty is in the garage under its custom cover. I miss my awesome sound system so much. Haven't listened to any good music in months.
I agree that there is no good music on the radio anymore. In Portland Oregon we have one alternative station where you might occasionally hear an old kinda rock song. That's why I have 1000 songs on my Ipod and forget the radio. Pandora is kinda cool though. I created the Disturbed radio station. They play pretty good tunes.

Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez make garbage music now. A lot of the music now is forgettable - I can't see it played on classic rock 20 years from now. Music went down hill when kids decided the singer had to change clothes and hair constantly and put on an elaborate show with special effects and elaborate concert sets. The great groups of the 70's/80's didn't need to entertain people with anything other than their music.
Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
listen to mainly Metal with a little rap and dub step.
5. Turn Down For What - Lil John
4. Kyoto - Skrillex
3. Brace Legs - Born of Osiris
2. Break You - Lamb of God
1. Abomination - Reformers
Boom. I prefer 8" subs which work GREAT for the punchy bass I listen to.

I thought I could pick a top 5 until I read everyone else's lists. Lot of good songs there. I was surprised that I didn't see a whole lot of Kid rock or Limp Bizket. Nobody picked Crystal Method either. A lot of my favorites have been named already so I'll try to put some new ones up.
LL Cool J- Mama said knock you out
Phil collins- In the air tonight
Guns & Roses- Welcome to the jungle

KMFDM- Juke-Joint jezebel

Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
Well, punch me if you like, but the Hoff's "True Survivor" got me for the time being.
I love the retrowave stuff and then he came about with a new version of Mitch Murder's "Enter The Fury" and put me straight back into the 80s.
Kinda fits our cars' era nicely.

Re: Your Top 5 Tunes
I cant stand RAP, POP or the crap they call music today. I was born in 1965 and far as I am concerned music was at its best from the 50s to the mid 90s. Not sure why rock is so hard to create today but thank Christ there are so many good old songs out there that I NEVER get tired of:
1. Metallica: For Whom the Bell Tolls
2. Judas Priest: You've got another thing coming
3. Dio: Rainbow in the dark
4. Led Zeppelin: Trampled under foot
5. The Cars: Candy-0
When I hear any of these songs, I want to be in my Firebird tearing up the highway...
Lots of others to list, but those 5 really get me going!!!

I have all that except for the krokus song. Defiantly draws some attention blasting out of these cars in this day and age.

Cool, I watch that movie every time it comes on. When it came out, a lot of people didn't get the movie. Some still don't.
