Th VRs look to be good subs. What brand amp are you looking for? You'll probably want to get a 2 channel amp and bridge the channels.

As far as the subs go, I had a single 15" being pushed by a very small fosgate amp and it had some nice sound. For the amp, I'm also very happy with my current MTX mono amp. Those might be worth looking into

the kickers sound awsomw when powered correctly, i would also recomend the memphis amp, but it'll cost. I have recently stumbled across a new and upcoming amp company called US Acoustics, they have awsome stuff they rate all of their equipment @ 12volts meaning same power whether the cars running or not.

The best amp for the Kicker Comp VR's is the Kicker ZR360. It is a 2 Channel amp and pushes them GREAT. My friends girl has 2 12's with the 360 and hit 143 DB's (not bad for the second above bottom line subs). Also my friend just listened to me and bought 2 VR 12's and the 360 and he loves them now, lol. I'd suggest the 360.

Ya, I have the ZR600 and I love it. Kicker has great products. The only thing I don't like about teh ZX460 is that it runs best in 2 OHM stereo. Have you ever heard of 2 OHM stereo speakers, lol. So using the amp to power 4 channels you aren't getting all the power that you could. I like the ZR240 for my highs because you can bridge the 4 channels down into 2 and run it at 2 OHM's and get the best power from the amp. But either amp is killer, any Z-line in Kicker's amp (ZR-ZX) are great, and the DX series amps are good too. the 360 is going to give you a great sound and alot of bump for 2 VR's.

let's not forget about the cost too, the 360 runs around 350-375 i believe, that's about $1 a watt, that's about where u wanna be, and plus kicker underrates their amps, my amps birth certificate said something like 471 watts bridged into on channel i'll have to find it to get the exact #
