steering wheel

I have an 88 gta with the steering wheel controls. And I put a Sony Xplod(yeah I know Sony, eww, but I never had any problems and I only paid $35) But any way i was wondering if there was any way to have my wheel controls work with this head unit. It is the HU with the option for the wired remote CDX4000. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.:hail: :lala:

so far from what i seen, the sterring wheel controls are pretty much lost. I've never came across anyone to sucessfully wire them into the radio. (well, the cant be wired to your headunit, unless a add on unknown to me exists)

I've seen some adaptors at crutchfield, but not sure if they make them for vehicles as old as ours

you could use them if you wired them right into the HU that would take time AND skill......

PAC has them for sale! I have the original test car for PAC, 1989 GTA. I am changing my steering wheel. If you want my control adaptor I will sell it to you. Let me know.
