All the Damn rattles
I need you guys to respong with some of the odd rattles your bass causes.. It's annoying and it just sound bad.
I ve got a lot of rattles solved, but I can't get all of them... So why dont we get a list of all the hard to locate rattles ond keep it going. All it's doing is helping each other.
The obvious:
taillights, rear interior plastic, upper door plastic, the mounting for the 6by9, the ashtray.. Buy all these are easy.. a little insulation tape and tighting everything including the dash can cure most of it. Blackouts with strategicly placed insullation tape and being screwed to the taillights solves a lot of exterior noise.

Yeow, talk about a boatload of Dynamat!! When I was installing, the Manager I worked for did this to his Accord, and the thing was as silent as a tomb. Lotsa work and $$$ too. For a fix that is a lot less expensive and labor intensive foam weather stripping works on trim panels that touch metal, and selective Dynamat in those areas does too (on the metal, not the trim). I would also repair or replace any cracked or brittle trim pieces.
