Yea or Nea?

Just ordered DJSexay's kicks on sale and am going to need a great sounding set to put in there, thinking about these, or should I get Kappas? What about Rockford Fostagate Fanatic X Series?

I have the Reference 605cs and I like them. You can buy them REALLY cheap at www.ikesound.com for $115. The sound is quite smooth and the vocals are very good for a cheap set of components(usually $199). As with most Infinity coax and comps. the midbass isn't the best but with alittle work adjusting the crossover points and EQ(if you have one) that can be fixed. I would personally go with the Kappas cause they do sound alittle better and at IkeSound they were around $150. Now to compare the Infinty's to RF's. There hasn't been a set of RF components that I like at all. The midrange is almost obsolete and the tweeter is VERY LOUD IMO. Would I buy Infinity again? Yep

 

I have em. They sound great in Dj's kicks.

I have an EQ, its an 11 Band Pyramid, i got it on ebay, brand new, still in box for $15 plus $10 shipping, its not the greatest in the world, but hey, it was $25

Now for the infinities, a guy on ebay is selling a lot of them and they are going for like $80 bucks becuase he has so many and nobody is bidding higher than that, so i thought that was a good price and was thinking about that. going to check that site right now...

 

an awesome set of comps in the under $200 range are the Crystals. no better speaker for the price anywhere.
