Did I Screw Up??

Ok yesterday I was wroking on my amp cleaning it up. And on the outside its like chrome so we have this chrome and stainless steel polisher stuff. So i put some on there and you are suppost to apply it will steel wool. Well I did it and I wiped it cean well now there a lots of little scracthes that i can see if you look closely. Any Ideas on how to get those away? I mean there are lots of them but they are very little and fine. Any help you can give me would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks

If you have a Dremel, use that with the chrome polish that you have. It works for polishing glass.

That's the only thing I can think off. Just make sure you don't overheat the chrome 'cause more than likely if it's on an amp, then it's plastic underneath.
