Alpine deck

Alpine deck

I am looking at an Alpine 1.5 DIN deck for my IROC. Anyone have it in? Any other suggestions? I want to fiil the space so i am looking at the 1.5 DIN. What do you think?

I got the Alpine D857. I will never need another deck ever again period:hail: Alpine
Don't have it in my ROC yet but i tempt into my S10 cause Sony blows ***. And the lack of owning a camera. Ya ya i own two vehicles but don't own a bloody camera. Oh well, You better find one while you can Alpine actually discontinued them.

Hey James yours Alpine looks slighty lighter colored then mine mine is alot darker then that. Hmmmm. Oh ya that clock is kinda odd but funky too!!

Yes, the clock was an option that came on cars equipped with an AM radio, I believe, though apparently it could be ordered as well. By 85, they were mostly a thing of the past (mine was one of 800 odd that year). I've seen them in the yards, so they can be had.

correct me if Im wrong, but I was looking at those and I dont think that they have 4V outputs do they? I am looking at a jvc hu that my brother has, it is $179 and it has 2 sets of 4 V outputs, and its really nice. Althought its not 1.5DIN

I've got the 855. In my view, it's a great player, flawless in playback. Highly recommended.

should have 4v outputs, almost all alpines do. except a few casette players

At one time they did have two models, they were identical with the exception that one had a 2V output and the other had a 4V output and maybe a few other minor things. I think the models were CDA-855 & CDA-852.
