is this swap any good...
Hi,
I've got a rebuilt LG4 running with a Qjet.(CCC)
A.I.R./EFE/EGR are gone..
I still have another intake manifold with corresponding Dueljet (non CCC).
What gives better performance/less problems/better MPG the quadrajet (CCC) as I've got it now (only code 32) or ditch the computer and go for the (old) dualjet and antoher intake????
any info is welcome

The dualjet, as you likely know, is the front half of a quadrajet. For performance, it doesn't even get in the game.
For economy, the CC quadrajet is about as good as a carb can get. When everything is working properly, it will give good drivablilty, good economy, and even good performance.
I can't think of any good reason to use a dualjet. If you want to improve the CC q-jet, make sure it is set up properly, tune the secondaries through rods & hangers, and go. A different manifold may help some, but what is really needed before that is good exhaust.
By the way, the AIR/EFE/EGR don't really hurt performance or economy. You might be better off putting them back on, especially the EGR. If you put on headers, the EFE is gone anyway.

Thanks that was just the info I needed.
I'm about to tune my Quadrajet as soon as I get the hang of it, I already lowered the tension on the sec. AV flaps. But I think I've got a small problem with the TPS (doesn't set a code though) should I try to adjust it, or leave it as it is.
AIR is gone because it took to much room, I'm planning to put my EGR back in, but even with the EGR back in I still get a code 32..the SES light goes on when I decellerate and goes away if a wait a while or accellerate....any ideas??? already replaced MAP but Baro is still in there..(yep I'm blessed with both in my car)
I've already took out the CAT and replaced the exhaust with a walker damper..
I also got the Qjet from a L69 and it looks like it got better rods and hangers (O hanger with DR rods, I think I currently use a L hanger rods I'm not sure of)
can I swap these right in or do I have to make some other adjustements..
I now have the rochestor manual from hayens and am trying to figure all the stuff out, but it's hard.Especially when you use your car as a daily driver you can't fiddle around too much...
economy is getting a problem because
0.26 gallon of petrol is almost 1.5 dollars here in holland.....
EFE is still on my headers but the vacuum isn't connected so it shouldn't work..
thanks in advance
