The hose that plugs into the back of the air intake assembly. is thier an adaptor for it? Can i just remove the hose? I wanted to get the K&N OEAC but dont know what to do with that hose. Thanks

I don't know about the K&N specifically, but most open element replacement air cleaners come with a bolt-on nipple that requires punching/drilling out holes in the base plate.

Another option is to plug the hole in the valve cover and get a vented oil fill cap. Same effect, but would be the same side of the engine as the PCV valve, so total removal of vapors would be reduced (slightly). But, crankcase pressure would be controlled fine.
