my new 350
my new 350
i have an 85 Z28 w/ the following parts already installed or in the process of installing:350/300 hp crate engine, edelbrock manifold, holley 650 carb, k&n airfilter, SLP 1-7/8" headers, 3" converter, 3" flowmasters, lock up kit for 700R4, new TCI 700R4 Tranny, JET stage 2 chip, 3.73 posi, new feul pump and lines. if setup correctly, what is this car capable of running in the 1/4 mi? i have heard anywhere from high 12s (doubtful) to high 14s. what would be an accurate guess? i want to have a good estimate before i run it at the track. thanks in advance.

Somewhere in the 13's. With a better cam and higher stall converter and sticky tires, easy 12's.

If tuned properly, deep in the 13s. if NOT tuned properly, mid-high 14s. Get the point? Don't expect to jsut bolt it together
and rip off a mind-blowing ET. Nobody can do the tunign for you either. It's DIY time once the basic mechanicals are bolted together and it's running.
