will TBI intake work for a carb?

I own an 84TA. I want to buy a 92's L98 350, and keep the 84's carb and computer. Since the bolt pattern for 87 and up's heads are different, I need a new intake (dual plane, low rise for idle-5500RPM with an EGR). I looked in some parts magazines, and I can't find this kind of intake with an EGR for an engine with 87 and up heads. I want to know:

1) does an intake like this exist
2) if one doesn't exist, would the TBI intake work with a carb, within the same RPM range??

After all, isn't a TBI basicly a direct injected carb? Any other suggestions would help, along with any responses.
One other thing, I read on the tech page that an L98 was made in 86 (only 50 produced). Would this have the bolt pattern I need? I'll take that, even though it has less HP, if it's not much more expensive (since only 50 were produced). Thanks.

OK, so the thing does exist... I guess the magazines only decided to only show the ones without an EGR... thanks.
