How much Should i pay for a used carburetor.
My car is a 84 T/A 305.I can get one from a 350 for $100. Is it worth it.there is nothing wrong with it.it was taken off for a biger and better one.

skip right to a bigger and better one first, get a holley 650 double pumper and a edelbrock victor jr. intake both brand new total cost will be like 400-450 at most, they are worth it and you will have them forever

I think that that may be a bit much, it sounds like you're doing this on a budget, so I would say if the 350's carb fits and works than use it... but $100 is a bit much, unless it has just been rebuilt... I would say $50 bucks is the average used non-rebuilt Q-jet value.
downwithET, does the holley 650 allow you to use a charcoal canister? How much do they go for?
