For a manifold I recommend the Wieand Stealth.

For a carb I say get a Holley 750. Vacuum secondaries if you have an auto tranny, manual secondaries if you have a stick. Don't waste your on an Edelcrap..they suck.

I'm with Jester, don't watse your time on Edlebrock stuff. The Wieand Stealth intake would be perfet for your combo. I would say go with a 650 vaccum secondary Holley, but I'm a bit more conservative than the wild man Jester.

I totaly agree, the only increase in power from manifolds Ive ever noticed come from wieand products Ie holley.

As far as the 750 holley, it might be better to use a 600 unless your good a tuning and dead set on a DP. Or I have had no problems with the SA "80670" fine carb just loves fuel.

Personally, I wouldn't get the weiand stealth. That engine comes with vortec heads and getting that intake to fit would be too much trouble IMO. Otherwise, it's an excellent choice. I would get a performer if you want to keep it stock and an RPM if you're going to change the cam later on. The carb size is a matter of personal preference.

Fbird88 has a point..IF your motor is the crate motor he's thinking of...the one that comes with vortec heads.

If it is your only intake options pretty much are Edelcrock and GMHP I think has one.

i was just about to ask that. GM and Edelbrock are the only people i have seen who make manifolds for vortec heads. i am gonna go with a 600 cfm, as i am not a tuner when it comes to carbs. do they make a stealth in vortec form? thanks guys

I have had absolutly no problems with Edelbrock... the only thing is the carb is illegal in NY and I can't hook up my charcoal canister... Hp has been upped by about 30 and I don't think the gutted cat can be the sole contributer to this effect... I don't know what you people do to your carbs, but mine runs fine and I don't mess with it...
BTW I would recommend 650 or 700 CFM for a 350

Go with the vortec manifold. It's a bit pricey, but those heads were made to work with that manifold. Go with a holley vacuum-secondary 750 and use Comp Cams XE250H-10. Chevy High Perf used this combo and made an engine that cranked 330 ponies. BUT, it made a whopping 417 lb-ft of torque!!! In my opinion, that's a lot of ****in torque!!! This is what I'm building for my TA.
